Prerequisites

• Rune-Tail, Kitsune Ascendant // Rune-Tail's Essence on the battlefield
• Pariah's Shield on the battlefield
• Pariah's Shield attached to a creature you control

Steps

1. When damage would be dealt to you, that damage is redirected to the creature that has Pariah's Shield attached instead
2. Because Rune-Tail's Essence prevents damage being dealt to creatures you control, the creature with Pariah's Shield attached takes no damage
