Prerequisites

• Enduring Renewal on the battlefield
• Altar of Dementia on the battlefield
• Basking Rootwalla in hand

Steps

1. Move to your cleanup step
2. Discard down to your maximum hand size, ensuring to discard Basking Rootwalla
3. Basking Rootwalla is discarded into exile, triggering its madness ability, causing you to pay to cast it from exile
4. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Basking Rootwalla
5. When Basking Rootwalla dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Basking Rootwalla from your graveyard to your hand
6. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Basking Rootwalla's power
7. Once the stack is empty and all players pass priority, another cleanup step occurs
8. Repeat from step 2
