Steps

1. Cast Carnival of Souls by paying
2. Herald of the Pantheon triggers, causing you to gain 1 life
3. When Carnival of Souls enters the battlefield as a creature due to Opalescence, it triggers, causing you to add and lose 1 life
4. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing Carnival of Souls, adding one mana of any color
5. When Carnival of Souls dies, Enduring Renewal triggers, returning Carnival of Souls to your hand from your graveyard
6. Repeat
