Altar of Dementia, and Gorma, the Gullet

Prerequisites

• Altar of Dementia on the battlefield
• Gorma, the Gullet on the battlefield

Steps

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing the persist creature
2. When the persist creature dies, its persist ability and Gorma trigger
3. Resolve the Gorma trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on it
4. Resolve the persist trigger, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Gorma
5. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability
6. Repeat

• Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature
• Infinite ETB
• Infinite LTB
• Infinite death triggers
• Infinite mill
