• You control a black creature

Steps

1. Activate Altar of Dementia by sacrificing Wingrattle Scarecrow
2. Wingrattle Scarecrow dies, triggering its persist ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield without a -1/-1 counter on it due to Melira
3. Resolve the Altar of Dementia ability, causing target player to mill cards equal to Wingrattle Scarecrow's power
4. Repeat
