Deafening Silence, and Knowledge Pool

Prerequisites

• Deafening Silence on the battlefield
• Knowledge Pool on the battlefield

Steps

1. Whenever a player casts a noncreature spell from their hand, Knowledge Pool triggers, exiling that spell
2. Because Deafening Silence prevents players from casting more than one noncreature spell each turn, players cannot cast a noncreature spell permitted by Knowledge Pool, or any other noncreature spell that turn

Results

• Exile all noncreature spells cast from a player's hand
• Players can only cast one noncreature spell per turn
