Steps
- Cast Moritte either from your hand or from the command zone by paying plus commander tax if applicable
- Choose to have it enter as a copy of the persist creature that is still legendary
- Put Moritte into your graveyard due to the legend rule
- When it dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it due to its ability
- Choose to have it enter as a copy of the persist creature that is still legendary
- Repeat step 2
