Steps

1. Cast Soul of Eternity by paying
2. Soul of Eternity enters the battlefield, triggering Verdant Sun's Avatar, causing you to gain life equal to Soul of Eternity's toughness
3. Vito triggers, causing target opponent whose lifetotal is less than or equal to Soul of Eternity's toughness to lose life equal to the life you gained
4. The opponent loses the game due to having zero or less life
