Storvald, Frost Giant Jarl, Tree of Redemption, Near-Death Experience, and Ride the Avalanche

Prerequisites

• Storvald, Frost Giant Jarl in hand or in the command zone
• Tree of Redemption on the battlefield
• Near-Death Experience on the battlefield
• Ride the Avalanche in hand
• Tree of Redemption does not have summoning sickness
• plus enough mana to pay for commander tax, if applicable available

Steps

1. On the end step prior to your turn, cast Ride the Avalanche by paying , allowing you to cast the next spell this turn as though it has flash
2. Cast Storvald either from your hand or from the command zone by paying and commander tax, if applicable
3. When Storvald enters the battlefield, it triggers, causing Tree or Redemption's power and toughness to become 1 until end of turn
4. Activate Tree of Redemption by tapping it, causing your life total to become 1
5. At the beginning of your upkeep, Near-Death Experience triggers, causing you to win the game
