Prerequisites

• Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink on the battlefield
• Thornbite Staff on the battlefield
• Sprouting Thrinax on the battlefield
• Phyrexian Altar on the battlefield
• Orthion does not have summoning sickness
• Thornbite Staff attached to Orthion
• available

Steps

1. Activate Orthion's first ability by paying and tapping it, creating a token copy of Sprouting Thrinax with haste
2. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing the Sprouting Thrinax token, adding
3. When the Sprouting Thrinax token dies, it and Orthion trigger
4. Resolve the Orthion trigger, untapping it
5. Resolve the Sprouting Thrinax trigger, creating three 1/1 Saproling creature tokens
6. Activate Phyrexian Altar by sacrificing a Saproling, adding
7. Repeat
8. Once you have infinite Saprolings, you may forego sacrificing the Sprouting Thrinax tokens
9. You may also then use Orthion's second ability targeting any creature you control
