- Ashnod's Altar on the battlefield
- An opponent has a creature card in their graveyard
- Puppeteer Clique does not have a -1/-1 counter on it
Steps
- Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Puppeteer Clique, adding
- Puppeteer Clique dies, triggering its persist ability, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it
- Puppeteer Clique enters the battllefield, putting a creature card from an opponent's graveyard onto the battlefield under your control
- Activate Ghave's second ability by paying
and sacrificing the creature your opponent owns, putting a +1/+1 counter on Puppeteer Clique - Repeat
