Prerequisites

• Magnanimous Magistrate on the battlefield
• Deepglow Skate in hand
• Ashnod's Altar on the battlefield
• Magnanimous Magistrate has at least five reprieve counters
• available

Steps

1. Cast Deepglow Skate by paying
2. Deepglow Skate enters the battlefield, doubling the number of reprieve counters on Magnanimous Magistrate
3. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Deepglow Skate, adding
4. Deepglow Skate dies, triggering Magnanimous Magistrate, causing you to remove five reprieve counters from Magnanimous Magistrate and return Deepglow Skate from your graveyard to the battlefield
5. Repeat from step 2
