Ashnod's Altar, Kitchen Finks, and Hardened Academic

Prerequisites

• Ashnod's Altar on the battlefield
• Kitchen Finks on the battlefield
• Hardened Academic on the battlefield

Steps

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Kitchen Finks
2. When Kitchen Finks dies, its persist ability triggers, returning it from your graveyard to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter on it
3. Hardened Academic and Kitchen Finks trigger
4. Resolve the Hardened Academic trigger, putting a +1/+1 counter on Kitchen Finks
5. Resolve the Kitchen Finks trigger, causing you to gain 2 life Repeat
