• Warstorm Surge on the battlefield

Steps

1. Cast Sekki by paying
2. Warstorm Surge triggers, targeting Sekki
3. Sekki prevents the damage dealt by Warstorm Surge and instead removes eight +1/+1 counters from itself and creates eight 1/1 Spirit creature tokens
4. Sekki dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness
5. Warstorm Surge triggers eight times, dealing 8 damage to any target(s)
6. Activate Sekki by sacrificing eight Spirits, returning Sekki from your graveyard to the battlefield
7. Repeat from step 2
