Prerequisites

• Gev, Scaled Scorch on the battlefield
• Murderous Redcap in hand
• An opponent has lost life this turn

Steps

1. Cast Murderous Redcap by paying
2. Murderous Redcap enters, triggering itself, dealing damage to itself equal to its power
3. Murderous Redcap dies, triggering its persist ability, returning it to the battlefield with a -1/-1 counter and at least one +1/+1 counter from Gev
4. The -1/-1 counter and a +1/+1 counter are both removed as a state-based action
5. Repeat from step 2
