Prerequisites

• Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons on the battlefield
• Skeleton Ship on the battlefield
• Thornbite Staff on the battlefield
• Thornbite Staff attached to Skeleton Ship
• Skeleton Ship does not have summoning sickness
• A player controls another creature with toughness equal to one

Steps

1. Activate Skeleton Ship by tapping it, putting a -1/-1 counter on target creature with toughness equal to one
2. The creature dies as a state-based action due to having zero or less toughness
3. Hapatra and Skeleton Ship triggers
4. Resolve the Hapatra trigger, creating a 1/1 Snake creature token
5. Resolve the Skeleton Ship trigger, untapping it
6. Repeat
