Steps

1. Activate Volrath by paying , causing it to become a copy of Grim Poppet until your next turn
2. Activate Grim Poppet by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Volrath
3. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token
4. Activate Volrath by removing a -1/-1 counter from it, putting a -1/-1 counter on Grim Poppet
5. Flourishing Defenses triggers, creating a creature token
6. Repeat from step 2
