Prerequisites

• Scrap Trawler in the graveyard
• Myr Retriever on the battlefield
• Ashnod's Altar on the battlefield
• Animar, Soul of Elements on the battlefield

Steps

1. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Myr Retriever, adding
2. When Myr Retriever dies, it triggers, returning Scrap Trawler from your graveyard to your hand
3. Cast Scrap Trawler by paying its mana cost, which is reduced by Animar
4. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it
5. Activate Ashnod's Altar by sacrificing Scrap Trawler, adding
6. When Scrap Trawler dies, it triggers, returning Myr Retriever from your graveyard to your hand
7. Cast Myr Retriever by paying its mana cost, which is reduced by Animar
8. Animar triggers, putting a +1/+1 counter on it
9. Repeat

• Infinite +1/+1 counters on a creature
• Infinite ETB
• Infinite LTB
